Terms of Service

Effective Date: July 2026

These Terms of Service govern all photography services provided by Bob Blakeslee Photography. By booking a session or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the following terms.

Booking & Payment

A signed agreement (when applicable) and any required session fee or retainer are due at the time of booking. Booking fees are non-refundable but may be applied to a rescheduled session at the photographer's discretion.

Remaining balances are due on or before the session date unless otherwise agreed.

Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule due to illness, emergency, or weather. Every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate a new date based on availability.

Outdoor sessions may be rescheduled if weather conditions would negatively affect image quality or safety.

Cancellations

Clients who cancel a session without rescheduling may forfeit any booking fee or retainer previously paid.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive on time for your scheduled session. Late arrivals reduce available shooting time and may limit the variety of images delivered. Excessive lateness may require rescheduling.

Image Delivery

Final edited images are delivered through an online gallery. Delivery times vary depending on the type of session but are typically completed within the estimated timeframe discussed at booking.

Raw (unedited) images are not provided.

Artistic Style

Clients acknowledge they have reviewed Bob Blakeslee Photography's portfolio and are hiring the photographer based on that artistic style. Image selection and editing decisions are made solely by the photographer.

Copyright

All photographs remain the copyrighted property of Bob Blakeslee Photography.

Clients receive a personal-use license for purchased digital images. Images may not be sold, entered into contests, or used commercially without written permission.

Social Media

Clients may share delivered images on social media. Please do not apply filters or significant edits that alter the photographer's work.

Credit to Bob Blakeslee Photography is always appreciated.

Model Release

Unless otherwise requested in writing before the session, Bob Blakeslee Photography may use photographs for portfolio display, website galleries, social media, advertising, and promotional purposes.

Clients may opt out of promotional use by notifying the photographer in writing prior to the session.

School & Team Photography

For school, sports league, dance studio, or organization photography, image delivery schedules may depend upon the completion of the overall event workflow. Individual ordering and package availability may vary by organization.

Limitation of Liability

In the unlikely event of equipment failure, illness, emergency, or circumstances beyond the photographer's control, liability is limited to the return of any payments received for services not performed.

While every reasonable effort is made to safeguard digital files, Bob Blakeslee Photography is not responsible for events beyond reasonable control that prevent completion or delivery of images.

Client Cooperation

Clients are responsible for obtaining any required permissions to photograph on private property and for ensuring that minors are supervised by a parent or legal guardian during sessions.

Acceptance

Booking a session or purchasing photography services constitutes acceptance of these Terms of Service.
